How your information is handled

This notice explains what happens to your information when you use vaibhavsinha.now. It is written in plain language and will be updated as the site's services are switched on.

Who is responsible

Vaibhav Sinha runs this website. If you want to ask about your information or have it removed, use the enquiry form and mention "privacy".

What this site collects

Just visiting. The pages are served by a hosting provider, which keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. This site does not use advertising cookies or trackers. If privacy-friendly analytics are switched on, they count page views and clicks such as "visited a service page" without cookies and without recording who you are, and without any of the text you type into forms.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address (and your name if you give it) is sent to the email provider that runs the newsletter. It is used to send the newsletter and manage your subscription. Every message includes an unsubscribe link. Subscribing is separate from booking or enquiring. Booking a session or sending an enquiry never adds you to the newsletter.

Enquiries. If you send an enquiry, your name, email address and message are emailed to me and used only to reply to you.

Bookings and payments. Sessions are booked through a scheduling provider, which collects the details you enter, creates the calendar event and Zoom meeting, and sends confirmations. Payments are taken by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through this website. Anything you write in a booking note is used only to prepare for our conversation.

Sensitive information

Please don't put anything in a note that you wouldn't want stored in a scheduling system or email inbox. You can always say more in the conversation itself. Sessions are not recorded automatically.

Who else handles your information

The hosting provider, the email provider for the newsletter, the email service used for enquiries, the scheduling provider, Zoom and Stripe each handle information only for the purpose described above, under their own privacy notices.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you using the enquiry form.

Changes

If this notice changes I'll update the date at the top of the page.
